Chianti Tour With Wine Tasting Tour Description
Typically our tour begins from a pickup point in Florence, however, this is negotiable depending on where you are staying. Your private driver and guide will collect you and the tour will begin once you step inside the luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle and we make our way to the world-famous Chianti region.
When people say Chianti, naturally the first thought that comes to mind is the fabulous wines from the region, but as we make our way to the first destination you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking scenic views and stunning vistas that are also so synonymous with Chianti and Tuscany.

We have prepared two very special exclusive visits to Chianti wineries for your visit. If you love wine, or even if you are just curious as to why Chinati is so highly regarded for its high quality and excellence this is the perfect occasion to taste some of the finest local produce, fantastic vintages, and prestigious labels.
Enjoy A Private Tuscan Lunch In A Winery
Our second wine tasting location will take place in an exclusive winery that only hosts one set of guests at a time. Here you will enjoy a typical hearty Tuscan style lunch which will help to bring out the distinct flavors of the wine you will sample.
Explore Siena With Your Private Guide
Your driver and guide will now take you for a tour of the nearby city of Siena that hosts the world-famous Palio race, held twice a year drawing tourists from all around the world to watch the various contrade (districts) compete in the fast-paced horse race.
Siena’s Piazza del Campo is the main square and regarded as one of Europe’s most beautiful, renowned for its unique shell-shape. Other sites worth seeing include:
- Piazza Del Duomo
- The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta
- The Baptistry
Your guide will describe the rich history and traditions of these sights along with the fascinating tales of the characters who once lived here as you relax and enjoy the views from our luxury vehicle, or if you would prefer to experience a more in-depth visit inside one of these great monuments then we can build that into the schedule for you.
Private Tour Of San Gimignano
In addition to Siena, you’ll also pay a visit to the “medieval Manhattan”, San Gimignano, an easily walkable hilltop town given this strange nickname due to its tall stone towers that seem to be the medieval precursor to skyscrapers.
Before we return to the Mercedes to begin our journey back to Florence or your preferred drop-off location we will ensure to refresh ourselves with a gelato in the famed Piazza della Cisterna where a number of the local gelaterias boast awards won over the years making the owners literal gelato royalty!
